For more safety and comfort, the Longtail comes equipped with:
- Schwalbe Pick Up 2.35" cargobike specific tires offering both comfort, excellent grip, and top-level puncture resistance
- Hydraulic disc brakes
- Microshift Advent Super Short 9 speeds drivetrain, specificaly designed for small wheels
- 65mm wide SKS Bluemels mudguards
- A wide mud flap to protect against splashes
- KMC e9 Turbo EPT chain, specially reinforced for pedal-assist motors
- FSA Orbit headset
- A double kickstand with a foot lever to assist in parking
- 80 Nm motor torque to tackle all loading difficulties and terrain profiles.
- Motor power linked to a torque sensor for a natural driving sensation.
- 520Wh or 860Wh battery
All bikes are assembled in our workshop after ordering. We do not have any bikes in stock, which implies an assembly time after ordering.

3 types of racks available:
Compact Rack 35cm x 25cm
If you have accessibility issues (such as narrow corridors in a basement), this ultra-compact solution is what you need. However, the carrying volume is limited.
Standard Rack 40cm x 40cm
This is THE rack for Le Petit Porteur, offering a generous loading volume.
Closed Rack 40cm x 40cm
Closed version of the Standard 40x40 rack. Paired with its basket, it is the ideal solution for transporting animals.

The double leg kickstand specific to the Longtail frame is included in the configuration
Safety Note:
Regardless of the model of bike and kickstand, you should NEVER TRUST YOUR KICKSTAND and leave children unsupervised on the bike.
The shape of the handlebar changes the riding position.
A Sport-style handlebar offers a rather forward-leaning position, ideal for developing muscular power. It is best suited for a muscle-powered version of the bike.
A Comfort-style handlebar offers a more upright position, commonly found on a traditional city bike.
The Klunker model is an intermediate between "comfort" and "sport." It is both wide and relatively straight but with a significant rise, offering a rather upright riding position. Additionally, it brings a BMX / Moto X touch that perfectly matches the frame's style.

The Klunker Hold My Beer model is a variation of the Klunker model. Excessive alcohol consumption is dangerous for your health ;-)
Nous proposons 2 longueurs de tige de selle afin d'offrir la plus grande amplitude de taille.
- La tige de selle courte permet de descendre très bas, mais pas de monter très haut.
- La tige de selle longue permet de monter haut, mais pas de descendre très bas.
Notre conseil: si vous mesurez moins d'1m70, choisissez de préférence la tige de selle courte.
Tige de selle courte (longueur 350 mm):
- H1 compris entre 75cm et 95cm
- H2 compris entre 50cm et 73cm
Tige de selle longue (longueur 550 mm):
- H1 compris entre 88cm et 104cm
- H2 compris entre 64cm et 82cm
The capacity of a battery only impacts the bike's range. It does not in any way affect the motor power.
The number of kilometers available depends on several factors such as:
- The weight of the load on the bike
- The level of assistance
- Proper use of mechanical gears
- Terrain profile
2 capacities avalaible (cells Samsung INR21700-50G):
- 10S3P => 520 Wh effectifs (540 Wh théoriques)
- 10S5P => 860 Wh effectifs (900 Wh théoriques)
Estimated range:
- 520 Wh => between 30 and 60 km
- 860 Wh => between 50 and 100 km
Please note, a high-capacity battery can be heavy and cumbersome to transport off the bike.
We offer 2 formats of display
- A Compact Format
- A Large Format
The compact format display provides the same information in a minimalist and discreet format. It is installed on the left side of the handlebar near the brake lever.
The Large Format display is installed in the center of the handlebar.
The safety bar is intended for transporting children. It also allows you to install a box with standard dimensions 40cm x 60cm.
Note: The use of a the safety bar does not exempt you from using a seat adapted to the age of the children transported.
Important note regarding seats for children under 5 years old:
Due to the compact size of the bike, not all enveloping child seats are compatible when installed in pairs.
Therefore, if you intend to install 2 enveloping seats for children under 5 years old, we recommend using the Bubbly Maxi Plus CFS model.
Depending on the age of the children transported, the use of a suitable seat may be strongly recommended or even obligatory.
There are 2 categories of seats:
- Baby seat from 9 months to 5 years
- Seat with belt over 5 years
Please note that when using the roll bar, not all baby seats used in pairs are compatible.
For this reason we recommend the use of the Bubbly Maxi Plus seat. It is also a model which, in our opinion, offers one of the best quality/price ratios.
Your bike comes standard with a protective flap on the front mudguard.
We offer you the same mud flap on the rear mudguard as an option.
This flap will not protect you, but it prevents water from splashing towards the cyclist following you.
